Patient update from Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness

During this unsettling time of COVID19 restrictions, we would like to assure you that providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff is our top priority. We are now doing COVID-19 antibody testing at the office.

We take every precaution in our office to keep everyone safe. Our usual guidelines include universal precautions, frequent handwashing, and frequent sanitizing of all patient areas. We added an ozone/UV air purifier, ozone water in all our units and as a rinse, and of course, we practice social distancing here as much as possible. We are also checking everyone’s temperature as they walk in the door to make sure there are no infected patients being treated.

If you have a dental emergency, please do not hesitate to call us either to see us in person or have a phone consultation. We are open to answer your calls from Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

We hope that each of you will stay safe & healthy as we navigate this complex situation together.

Dr. Berland’s Sonic Cleaner is ideal for Dentures, Partial Dentures, Mouth/Night Guards, Retainers, Aligners, and Sleep Apnea Devices.

Instructions for Dr. Berland’s Sonic Cleaner:

First Use:

  1. Open the lid and remove batteries
  2. Insert batteries into the slot at the bottom of the sonic cleaner

Subsequent Use:

  1. Remove bluish-green bath from sonic cleaner, rinse, fill with water (though not completely full), and replace into the sonic cleaner
  2. Squirt 3-4 Pumps of the Cleanadent Liquid Crystals into the bath to remove stains and kill pathogens
  3. Insert your removable oral appliance into the bath
  4. Close the lid
  5. Move the switch at the back of the sonic cleaner to “On”
    a. Leave the sonic cleaner on for 20 minutes to fully remove stains, debris, odor and pathogens like Candida, Streptococcus and Staphylococcus – then switch “Off”
  6. Remove bath, empty the remaining solution, remove the appliance and rinse both appliance and bath
  7. Replace bath in the sonic cleaner and leave the lid open to dry

For Overnight Storage, we recommend placing the oral appliance in the Sonic Cleaner with plain water and the position on “OFF”.

Never use a regular toothbrush and regular toothpaste on your appliance as it is too abrasive and will cause scratches that reduce shine and color and create the perfect environment for bacteria to thrive.
